J. Edward Roush Lake, also known as Huntington Lake, is a reservoir located in Huntington County, Indiana. The lake covers approximately 900 acres and is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The lake was named in honor of J. Edward Roush, a former Indiana congressman who served from 1959 to 1969. Roush was a strong supporter of environmental conservation and played a key role in the creation of several national parks and wilderness areas during his time in office. J. Edward Roush Lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping. The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish.
